I have added a few pinned items in each project here in the bug tracker to help everyone know what is planned to be fixed and for what release. Generally if it is near a release date and a reported bug isn't fatal it will be marked to be fixed in the next release.

Using these pinned topics you can judge how a release is going. Generally a release will not ship until all the issues identified for that release are fixed and closed.
